So, it has only been about three and a half months since I last blogged.., oops, I guess I have been slacking a little bit. Granted. a lot has been happening in our lives and I have been staying plenty busy over the past few months. I am so sorry I haven’t written sooner. I have been itching to sit down with the laptop (or as Novella calls it the taptap) and write. I know that once baby 2.0 comes I will probably be blogging even less; however, I am going to try to do better. Life with two will be a big change, and I am excited to learn and experience, and share what it is like. Not going to lie, I have been a little nervous about the transition from one to two, mostly on how it will affect Novella and my relationship. She is used to getting my undivided attention everyday for the last 20 months! Wow, is she really going to be 20 months at the end of this week? I am now almost 23 weeks pregnant, and feeling good so far. I have to retake my gestational diabetes test again in a few weeks, and we are prayerful that we will pass it again. So far there have been no unforeseen complications this pregnancy, and everything has been going much smoother than that of our pregnancy with Novella in 2013/2014. What an answer to prayers!!
Well, as many of you know, we had our 20 week ultrasound of baby Frazier 2.0 on 28DEC15. What a special day that was! First and foremost, we found out that 2.0 will be another little girl! Boy did we surprise a lot of people! By the end of the tally we had 24 votes for a girl, and 35 votes for a boy!! The fun thing about doing the tallies is I have saved them for both this baby, and Novella, and they have been saved in their pregnancy journals along with ultrasound photos. When I was due with Novella, my mom passed down her pregnancy journal and my baby journal to me, I plan to do the same, as I try to document all that I can, so hopefully one day when they are bringing my grand babies (God willing) into this world that they can look back and see what it was like for their momma when carrying them! So it is a fun journey for me to document. So although I have not been actively blogging, I am still writing, so I cannot complain!
Onto the rest of our doctor appointment. Baby Girl 2.0 looks very healthy, and good. According to ultrasound photos she has a different forehead from Novella, but the same sweet mouth and lips. It is wild how much you can see and learn from ultrasounds these days! She however has a expected due date of 20MAY16, but is measuring to be due 21MAY16, which oddly enough is the day BEFORE Novellas second birthday! People joked and said maybe they would share birthdays, God only knows and it will be revealed to us in a few short months! The day of our ultrasound as we drove back from Green Bay, it began to snow, that night it snowed 13 inches in less than 12 hours with high winds that left snow drifts in our driveway up to four feet high! Talk about an extremely memorable day and night!
