Quantum PC Anniversary Party

There is a local Computer shop called Quantum PC Services here in Sturgeon Bay, WI. On a whim one day, shortly after they opened, Ryan was looking for something specific, and stopped in. He was highly impressed, he continued to make visits to their shop getting to know the owners Nate and Erin, and of course their little dog Chewy, and their awesome employee Journey. Not long after, they became a regular stop on our walks to go in, visit, pick their brains and what not. The Quantum PC family have become friends of ours over the past year. Just recently they celebrated their one year anniversary, and we were very humbled to be personally invited to attend their party.

Of course the Frazier Frontier doesn’t get to go out to many “events” these days, so we took advantage and put on a little makeup (well Micah did), and actually got out the iron! Now that is a big deal! I think the last time it was out was when I was pregnant, and my mother was here and did some ironing for my Grandmother and me! Needless to say, we weren’t fancy, but we at least made an effort to be a little more than our usual t-shirt and jeans family.

The food was really great, it was catered by our local food truck, the made buffet style fresh made tacos with all local ingredients. Also, dessert was provided by a local baker, it included truffles of different flavors (my personal favorite was a Chocolate and Stout, it was decadent and overall wonderful). At the end of the evening they did a drawing for a few items, including custom designed T-shirts, and an Ipad Mini 2. They said everyone could enter the drawing, no age limit. We decided to only put ourselves and Novella into the mix, since Aveline is so tiny and would not understand any of the excitement of winning anything yet (if she were to).

At the end of the evening Novellas name was drawn for a t-shirt, they didn’t have any sizes that would fit her just yet, but it was pretty exciting to see her name drawn, she didn’t understand, but she clapped for herself with a big smile! Then came the time to draw for the Ipad Mini 2. They put all the names of the people that were still in attendance into the hat, and Journey drew a name. When he saw it he smiled, he showed it to Erin, she smiled, and showed it to Nate…everyone was wondering, then they turned and looked in my direction… then called the guy behind me… BUMMER! JUST KIDDING! They turned the paper around so we could see it, and with a big smile Erin said, “Novella you are the luckiest little 2 year old in the world!”.

The night was lovely, and it was so fun to get out and celebrate with our friends in their Journey of their expanding computer shop. We just found out the day before that they were going to be expanding their business to the Westside of Sturgeon Bay, and will be going full service in May 2017. We are very excited for them. If you are ever in the Sturgeon Bay area, and need some help with your Computer, Internet, Networking, etc… Give them a call! By he way, can I just say how much I enjoy Ms. Erin love for our girls?!?! She is so genuine and kind with them, and both girls adore her!
