Busy Beautiful Months

The past few weeks/months have been filled with many memories, some fun, some challening, many memorable!

We are settled in now and we finally welcomed our first guests, my parents, Opa and Gran Jan. We had a delightful time showing them the area, going to Seattle, a rock beach, playgrounds, the county fair, and lots of playtime and overall just enjoying each others company. The visit was much needed and rejuvenating.

After they head back home the girls and I all ended up with colds, so we lied low and then the reality of our crazy lives in our new town began. Novella started pre-k homeschool, Aveline started therapies (4 a week), doctors appointments, Novella started Awanas and gymnastics, and I am even trying to fit in bible study one day and Ryan and I are in a lifegroup with our church as well 😲🤪.

We have still been diligently working on finding answers and diagnosis for Aveline. The past few weeks we obtained some answers, but we are still working on the puzzle to get more finite answers. This could still be months away. We have several specialists scheduled through November, and we know we have great doctors and therapists working to help us to help her!

Aveline joined the Ainsley’s Angels, if you don’t know about them, you can find information about them HERE. She officially rode in her first 5k race a few weekends ago, she loved it! As people cheered and clapped for her, she clapped with them! She said yes when they asked her if she wanted to walk over the finish line; and she did just that! She earned two medals, and she was so proud of them! It amazes me how much a little 28 month old girl can inspire and encourage people. She will be riding in another race on the 27th of this month as well.

Novella is learning bible verses, and knows the entire pledge of allegiance! She has learned all of her letters (capital and lowercase) and the sounds associated with each letter. She is really excited about Awanas and gymnastics. She has been asking lots of big questions about God and Jesus and it is amazing to hear her thoughts as she considers and processes everything. Her love and patience for her sister is beyond her years. She is so understanding, patient and kind to her. Also, she loves dinosaurs and snakes, she is a big fan of all of the Jurrasic Park and Jurrasic Wold movies!

God has BIG plans for these two remarkable little girls! We are so excited to be a part of the molding and upbringing that God has entrusted us with. Thank you for your continued reading, prayers and support!!
