Well, as many of you know, Ryan and I bought our first home earlier this year. We FINALLY got to move in April 2015. Being homeowners has been a wonderful and challenging experience all wrapped up in one. Of course with any home, you have a never ending TO-DO list, which is currently on hold until we save up some money for the next few projects on our list. However, we got done with several projects that had to be done. First, we had to build our new chicken coop to house the baby chicks we got in May, let’s just say, Ryan did a fantastic job designing and building the coop, I picked out the colors, and painted it, and helped pick out the hardware for it as well. The rest of it was all Ryan! I am mighty proud of him. The next big project we had to undertake was painting our decks. They were not in very good shape, and little feet were getting a lot of splinters, so we found some heavy duty “repair” deck paint, and went to town after power-washing. Let’s just say, it was a HUGE undertaking, our decks have a LOT of balusters, and those take the longest amount of time. As far as the house itself, it didn’t need a whole lot, some caulking in the bathrooms, a little paint, hanging photos, and making it all our own. It is nice to have a home of our own, that we can do what we want with, when we want. It is a 4 bedroom/ 2 full bath house (both bathrooms have Jacuzzi tubs), a large backyard with a fantastic play set that Novella loves to play in and on. So without further ado, here are the long awaited photos. Not many photos of the basement right now, I have a bunch of garage sale stuff piled up down there that I am going through… The basement has the guest bedroom, a living room, large bathroom all finished, and then an unfinished area where laundry and storage is. Enjoy! By the way, there are a lot of changes that have taken place since these photos were taken of the interior, but you still get the idea of the house! 🙂
Our hobby room, is much more organized now, and I have my oak desk with sewing machine in here now.
Novella’s room, the only difference, is her bed is now a toddler bed! Big girl, growing up!
Enjoying books in her room! Gosh, she looks so tiny here!
A hodge podge of gifts from Grandparents. The photo frame is from my parents, the hand print, roses and ore are from Ryan’s parents. They all went together perfectly with the sweet pink colors. Such a special area of decoration to celebrate her!
All of the Above Photos are the After of the decks, The next few are the before photos.
Chicken Coop build and designed by my crafty husband. The hens and Rooster seem to like it well enough!

Lovely photos. Congrats on your first home. Miss you guys a lot. Hugs
