Don’t Worry, We’re Still Here! Lol

Well, it has been awhile for certain. I am sorry to all of you dedicated readers for it being so long. Well, I suppose a lot has happened in the last 10 months or so since I last wrote about what was happening with our family. It has certainly been an odd year (2020 into 2021) to say the least! I think that is a statement we can ALL agree upon! Hmmm, where to even begin…

Our backyard fun has grew exponentially due to not being able to enjoy playgrounds and parks like we did once before. We have a swing set, a climbing dome, and the most recent add was a 14 ft trampoline with enclosure and sprinkler. To say they enjoyed it would be an understatement. Not to mention, I am not sure which one has enjoyed it more, the 3 girls or Ryan! Haha he was caught out there on multiple occasions with the sprinkler on bouncing the girls. So far the only injuries were a sprained ankle (Novella), and an accidental UFC type flying knee by Novella into Avelines left eye! Youch!!! She got a black eye from it, but healed quickly!

All three girls had birthdays.  Birthdays of course looked a little different this year, but we still had a lot of fun celebrating each one of our special girls! Aveline turned FOUR! Novella turned SIX! Ravenna is now ONE! they were all very special and enjoyable days, but man were we worn out after!!

Novella has lost 5 baby teeth and it is looking like she will need braces because of how close all of the grown up teeth are coming in, but we will cross that bridge when we get to it. She is learning to read and she started first grade with masterbooks! She also learned how to ride a 2 wheeler with no training wheels before her 6th bday!

Aveline hasn’t been to physical therapy since March. It has definitely been a challenge as we have seen a lot of regression in her walking and strength. Lots of falls, bruises and scraped up skin, but she is a strong little girl as always! She will be started her Frazier Frontier homeschool journey officially as well!

Ravenna is walking, running, twirling, beginning to talk, climb and is curious about everything. She has eight teeth now, loves playing peekaboo, giving high fives and she is still one of the happiest babies I have ever met!

Ryan’s job has looked quite a bit different the past 9 months. We have also been blessed to have a lot of extra time with him! I love him, but some days I enjoy when he heads back to the office to get back into a routine!! Haha I love you Ryan!! But in all seriousness he has been back to work more in recent weeks and we have missed him being home with us as much! He also applied for a position overseas. He dud not get it, so we are still hanging out here in Washington for a bit longer.

We have been busy doing lots of little projects around the house and crafty activities. Purging, playing outside, etc. This fall we did lots of baking and cooking to use a bunch of zucchini and squash that our neighbors gave us from their garden, and apples from our tree that we pruned this year that is doing far better than we had anticipated!

I (Micah) had surgery to have my tubes removed. No more biological Frazier babies for us. As many of you long time readers know, my pregnancies and births tend to be a bit complicated and traumatic. With a lot of prayer, tears, emotions, discussions we finally came to the decision that this was the best decision for us and our family. We are very at peace about it even though there are still emotional moments of saying goodbye to this 7.5 year chapter of our lives of pregnancy and breastfeeding. Putting away and purging all baby and maternity things. However, on the other hand we are looking forward to what our future looks like with no more babies, and big kiddos that we can do more with. We did the math and with my being pregnant and nursing without a break since August of 2013 until now I have been pregnant for 1.125 years and breast fed our daughters for a total of 5.75 years and Ravenna is still going strong. That in and of itself is definitely something to be proud of. We feel very blessed to have the 3 beautiful little girls God chose to entrust us with!

We had a nice Thanksgiving this year! I had not originally planned to cook, but I shifted gears and did a nice meal ans had one of Ryan’s shipmates join us. It was a nice quiet day. Christmas eve service was wonderful, we made a Christmas eve Charcuterie board that was wonderful, and Christmas day we started out with a Cinnamon Roll charcuterie board. I cooked a ham supper and some of our neighbors joined us for awhile. We feel blessed to be able to host a little here and there even though that looks different as well these days.

I (Micah) also started selling Pampered Chef full time. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! And not to toot my own horn (okay maybe just a bit… toot toot) I’m actually kind of good at it. Lol it has brought some extra income and it has been a lot of fun for me! This Christmas was Pampered Chef gifts all around! Haha 😄

Well I think that is a substantial amount of updates! I won’t flood you with pictures this time, because that would be almost a full year of pictures. So I will jus leave you with this one!!! I hope you will still continue to be faithful readers and followers! And I promise… there will be more, much more from the Frazier Frontier Blog!!! ❤

  1. What beautiful little girls and amazing smiles. We had hoped to get to Portland and possibly add on some time for a road trip to see you. Darn Covid rerouted a whole lot of life, however, we haven’t given up. Simply an uninvited delay. Love to y’all. 🤗♥️
